Christopher “Coy” Graham, Born Gulfport, Mississippi on February 17, 1975. Was raised between Vancleave, MS with his father and Amelia Island, FL with his mother. I am versatile individual who thrives in dynamic, challenging environments. Assertive and enthusiastic with extensive outdoor and adventure knowledge and experience I have hiked over 12,000 miles on a number of long distance trails. These trails equipped me with a set of skills to do anything both physically and mentally while gaining a true sense of what is important and what is not.
My passion of hiking comes from my father. He taught me how to fish, how to hunt, how to identify trees, plants and mushrooms, animal tracks and to have deep respect for nature and wildlife.
I love to hike because of its community. People who hike these trails share a common bond that transcends age, race, socioeconomic status, political beliefs, religion, hair-dos, and all of the things that divide us off the trail. I'm always pleased to meet new people at trail shelters or out along the trail and talk to them. I've met the most interesting people this way and I count many of them as good friends to this day.
My priorities in life are my wife and grandchildren. They mean the world to me, it’s important for me to share every step with them; to foster the love I have of nature thru them.
