Aaron Ibey, aka "Wankles", is a lifelong lover of the outdoors, travel blogger, and professional adventure photographer from Indianapolis, Indiana. After graduating High School in 2015, he decided to do something out of the ordinary. In 2016 at the age of 20 years old, he decided to thru-hike all 2,200 miles of the Appalachian Trail from Georgia to Maine. Ever since then, long distance hiking been an incurable addiction for Ibey.
While on the AT, Ibey met hundreds of people from all walks of life while gaining knowledge and appreciation for people and the wild places mankind is fortunate to have access to. Soon after completing the AT, the next adventure was on his mind. So in September of 2017, he will be revisiting a 60 mile section of the Appalachian Trail in the Roan Highlands in Tennessee followed by a west coast hike through the High Sierras in the Ansel Adams Wilderness and Yosemite National Park with his girlfriend Jenny.
In 2018 Jenny and Ibey will head to the Pacific Crest Trail to hike 2,700 miles from Canada to Mexico, collecting photographs and sharing their experience as they go.
